What will you learned?

The 2-Day Hands-ON Fiber Optics Course introduces basic fiber optics including how it works, industry terminology, light transmission theory, installation practices, fiber types and classification, network design and fiber optics safety aspects.

The course includes providing all the information required on applications of fiber optics test gears, simple equipment analysis, problem solving scenarios, fiber inspection, troubleshooting and maintenance techniques to find possible errors in indoor and outdoor cable installations. It also goes in-depth into locating problems in the network that might lessen a signal.

This course is also designed to help a supervisor spot errors by contractors during the installation process and enact procedural changes to prevent reoccurrence.

An introduction on simple method of calculating fiber optics project management cost for bidding purposes plus local and overseas fiber optics cables and accessories suppliers.

After this class you will be well prepared for field work and capable of handling almost any fiber optics installation projects.
